At Sunshyne Charities, our aim is to narrow the gap for individuals who don't meet the criteria for Medicare/Medicaid based on their income yet still require essential Home Care services. On too many occasions we have witnessed firsthand the heartbreaking reality of people having to sacrifice or discontinue care due to financial constraints, we aim to change that reality. 

 

At Sunshyne Charities, we advocate for equal access to essential care, particularly for those in the middle-income bracket who may face limited financial assistance. Our mission is to guarantee that no one is deprived of transformative home care services because of financial constraints.

 

Home care is often overlooked until the need arises suddenly, often with urgency. The cost can come as a surprise, leaving individuals scrambling to find a solution to maintain independent living for as long as possible. While there are numerous assistance programs available for those below a certain income threshold, there's a striking shortage of support for individuals who earn too much to qualify for Medicare/Medicaid yet still make less than $75,000 annually.

 

Sunshyne Charities is dedicated to filling this void by utilizing fundraising initiatives and donations to ensure that families and individuals receive the necessary support, thereby ensuring that no one is left without the essential care they require.
